Who runs this site

josejruiz.com is the personal site of Jose J. Ruiz — CEO and Managing Partner of Alder Koten (executive search), Chairman and Managing Partner of Anker Bioss (organization and people advisory), and Chairman of IMD International Search Group. This site is operated by Elavant.

What we collect

We collect only the information you deliberately share with us. When you write to us through the contact page or by email, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. We keep that record so we can respond and follow up.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors reach the site. Analytics data is anonymized (IP truncation) and used only in aggregate. We do not sell it and we do not build advertising profiles from it.

The site hosts no advertising, no third-party trackers beyond Google Analytics, and no behavioral retargeting pixels.

Cookies

The only cookies set by this site are those Google Analytics uses to distinguish anonymous sessions (_ga and related). You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to read anything on the site.

How we use what you share

Email you send us is used to have a conversation with you — nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not share your address with third parties, and we do not sell contact information. If a professional relationship follows, your information is handled under the engagement agreement we sign.

How long we keep it

We keep contact correspondence for as long as the conversation or engagement is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for reference. Analytics data is retained on Google's default schedule (currently 14 months) and then discarded automatically.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to jose@josejruiz.com and we will respond within a reasonable window. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with equivalent data-protection law, the rights that law grants you apply here in full.

Children

This site is written for professional audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes, the new version and its date will appear on this page. Substantive changes will be noted here rather than communicated by email.
